Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 30, 2026

At CulinAiry, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or use our applications and services (collectively, the "Services"). Please read this privacy policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the site.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect via the Services includes:

  • Personal Data: Personally identifiable information, such as your name, email address, and profile picture, that you voluntarily give to us when you register with the Services.
  • Derivative Data: Information our servers automatically collect when you access the Services, such as your IP address, your browser type, your operating system, your access times, and the pages you have viewed directly before and after accessing the Services.
  • User Content: Recipes, nutritional logs, meal plans, and chat logs with our AI coaches that you generate or input into our system.

2. Use of Your Information

Having accurate information about you permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you via the Services to:

  • Create and manage your account.
  • Generate AI-driven recipes, nutritional insights, and coaching responses. Coaching is personalized to your dietary profile only if you enable the optional personalization setting in the AI Coach.
  • Process transactions and send related information, including confirmations and receipts.
  • Monitor and analyze usage and trends to improve your experience with the Services.
  • Send you promotional communications, assuming you have opted in.

3. Disclosure of Your Information

We may share information we have collected about you in certain situations. Your information may be disclosed as follows:

  • By Law or to Protect Rights: If we believe the release of information about you is necessary to respond to legal process, to investigate or remedy potential violations of our policies, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of others, we may share your information as permitted or required by any applicable law, rule, or regulation.
  • Third-Party Service Providers: We may share your information with third parties that perform services for us or on our behalf, including AI model providers accessed through the Lovable AI Gateway (currently Google's Gemini models and OpenAI's models), payment processing, data analysis, email delivery, hosting services, and customer service.
  • Business Transfers: We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.

4. AI and Data Usage

As an AI-first platform, your inputs (such as recipe requests, ingredients, and chat queries) are processed by third-party language models accessed through the Lovable AI Gateway — currently Google's Gemini models and OpenAI's models. By accepting our terms you consent to this processing of the content you submit. Your personal dietary or health profile (for example allergies, restrictions, and nutrition targets) and your coach chat history are only sent to these models as context when you turn on the optional personalization setting in the AI Coach; you can turn it off at any time. We do not use your personal dietary or health data to train foundational models. Anonymized, non-identifying data may be used to improve our prompt engineering and service delivery.

5. Security of Your Information

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location (such as the EEA, UK, or California), you may have the right to request access to the personal information we collect from you, change that information, or delete it in some circumstances. To request to review, update, or delete your personal information, please contact us.

7. Contact Us
